In my experience, I have rarely met men who will write love letters. It is like pulling teeth sometimes to get a guy to write. Have you found any love writers in your travels through relationships?

Re: Letters from males
Tue, July 13, 2004 - 11:58 AMYes, there was one. They were mostly e-mails (one physical letter that had some love letter portions), and mostly angst and longing, and emotional pain and suffering as a motivator. But they were still the most beautiful things I've ever read. Sadly, I deleted most of them in a fury of self-loathing and aching for him. :( The few I have left I cherish so very much. I'd give anything to have more.

Re: Letters from males
Wed, July 14, 2004 - 7:49 PMSomehow, I have been lucky. I had two men in my life who wrote beautiful love letters and poems to me...Incredibly enough, the two men were my first and 2nd boyfriends....so when the letters didn't happen with the following boyfriends, I was a bit bummed!

Re: Letters from males
Fri, February 4, 2005 - 9:25 PMYes i did - unfortunately he was a pretty talker and dumped me for someone else and being from the UK, I'll never see him again.
But it was two wonderful years. Heres one he posted. We were in 24/7 D/S relationship, hence reference to "slave."

Needless to say the poems are beautiful, but they are nothing compared
to
the beauty I see in you.
You do not need poetry to express how you feel.
Feel you may that poetry is not found in your voice,
that the words you speak are not words of beauty or of grace.
That they come from you is song enough.
That they are punctuated by your beating heart is enough.
That they resound with the love you have for me will *never* be enough.
Therefore e`er I cry for more words to pour from your soul
That I may hear them and remember that which I have not lost.
That I may hear them and remember that which I have found.
That I may hear them and remember where my home is.
I feel *you* in your words, in your silences, in your every breath.
I hear *you* in my heart, in my dreams and in my every step.
I need *you* in my life, in my arms and in my every waking moment.
You may not allow yourself worthiness. This is allowed and expected.
But.
As my slave, you will trust.
As my love, you will trust.
As my friend, you will trust.
As my kin, you will stay.
Be Mine, My love, and I will revere you.
Stay Mine, My love, and I will never stop cherishing you.
